  2. I’m thrilled you like them, Wrick! Feel free to ‘visualize’ any of the three and perhaps we can sort of collaborate. Thanks hugely! Mahalo!

By the way, I hope to come to Hawaii sometime soon to visit my aunt, my mom’s sister, and a host of cousins and friends in Oahu. Perhaps we can meet then?

    • aloha Alegria – interesting thought… on the Red Dragonfly blog… we have found that if you give me a subject, or topic or theme – and let me respond to that rather than the poem/words – that can work out very well.

if i respond to the words/poem, then it becomes too easy to illustrate. i think there is more to be gained by linking and jumping in our collaboration – so that the reader/viewer leaps into exploring the connections. that way too both works stand strong individually, yet climb into new spaces and spheres together. would that be okay (of course it does not always work – but often it works in surprising and astonishing ways)?

i can not promise i will always be able to do something. we can try tho. do you have my email? 19planets at gmail dot com will get to me and we can see.

  3. oh. ha. no worries Alegria – when we are able to connect we connect. so you are not late. there are times when i disappear and do not get back to something right away – i think that is just how life works sometimes. i dont think we need to worry about it. yes, i’d like to try.

just so you know i’ll be off island (that means i’ll be away) for a week or so the end of July or beginning of Aug. so i know things will get hectic in there someplace. that’s when i may be slow to respond too. so no worries. and yes, let’s try. what i do may not work for you – and that is okay if that happens too. it’s just fun to try.

hahaha – fluid ways, i like that. and no, no promises. other than to aim at fun. aloha.
